Pups & Yoga came to Spain to do something nobody else was doing in Europe: host puppy yoga at a five-star resort, in a setting that feels like a retreat rather than a class.
Our Marbella sessions take place at Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort — a sanctuary nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra Bermeja mountains, surrounded by Andalusian gardens and three Robert Trent Jones golf courses. Puppies come from licensed, ethically run breeder partners we vet personally, and only attend during their developmentally appropriate socialization window (8 to 14 weeks).
Classes are bilingual (English and Spanish) and open to everyone — you do not need to be a hotel guest to book. Eleven cities and tens of thousands of clients later, Marbella is the only puppy yoga experience hosted at a luxury resort anywhere in Europe.

Where exactly is the Marbella studio?
Our Marbella sessions take place at Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort, Urbanización Villa Padierna Golf Resort, Carretera de Cádiz Km 166, 29679 Benahavís, Málaga. It's a 15-minute drive from Puerto Banús and 25 minutes from Marbella Old Town.
Do I need to be a hotel guest to book?
No. Sessions are open to the public — you do not need to be staying at Anantara Villa Padierna. Whether you are a resort guest, a Costa del Sol resident, or visiting Marbella for the day, you can book a class.
Is the class in English or Spanish?
Both. Our instructors guide the class bilingually so international guests and local Spanish residents feel equally at home. Cues are given in English with Spanish translation; if the group prefers, the entire class can run in Spanish.
What happens in a Pups & Yoga class?
Each class is 60 minutes split into three parts: 20 minutes of guided yoga to warm up and settle in, 20 minutes of yoga while the puppies roam freely, and 20 minutes of unstructured play time with the puppies. No prior yoga experience required — most attendees are first-timers.
Is there parking at the resort?
Yes. Anantara Villa Padierna offers complimentary on-site valet and self-parking. Since this is a drive-only destination, most guests arrive by car, taxi, or hotel shuttle.
Where do the puppies come from?
Our puppies come from licensed, ethically run breeder partners we vet personally. They are typically 8 to 14 weeks old — within their developmentally appropriate socialization window. Each puppy attends only during this window and is never used for back-to-back classes.
Are drinks included?
Yes. As part of the experience, the resort serves complimentary refreshment drinks — typically infused water, tea, and other light refreshments to enjoy before, during, or after class. It is part of what makes Pups & Yoga Marbella feel closer to a wellness retreat than a workout class.
Can I book a private session for a group?
Yes. We host private puppy yoga sessions at the Anantara resort for corporate retreats, birthdays, bachelorettes, hen parties, and brand activations — or at a venue of your choice anywhere on the Costa del Sol. Visit our Private Events page for a custom quote.
